I am a Stockbroker. I work in a business started by my Grandfather. I have lived all my life, 64 years, in Melbourne Australia. My doctor tells me that for my weight I am too short, and that I should get more exercise. I will try to keep my doctor happy.

On Fridays I have lunch at Shark Fin Inn a popular
restaurant in Melbourne's Chinatown.

I like to see other cultures, and to sample unfamiliar food and wine. Asia is close, and I know Singapore & Manila fairly well. I usually travel in January when the office is not busy, and also briefly at Easter.

The Stock Market is very important to me. It is one of the places where I feel at home. I invest in it, and it is the core of my professional career. I try very hard to make sense of it.

I am the only child my parents had - a much loved son. As an only child I learned early to reach out and establish friendships, and to value them.

Bracklyn

Bracklyn is a block of twelve flats built beside a park on Toorak Road, just East of the South Yarra shopping area. (see map) The flats are large and well designed. The flats have many windows looking West down into the park, and external blinds for protection from the setting sun in Summer. I have lived here since early 1971.

Holidays

On 26 December 2002 Kim & I are will set off for a house in France near the wine district of Bordeaux. We will stay there a week with Sock Yan and Robert Mann, and the kids, and then we will all move on to adventure further. In due course we will get to Rome.
