I joined the Navy as a boy, and while in
the Navy studied engineering at Melbourne University. I have become
an enthusiastic cook, well, enthusiastic if I have the right company to
cook for.
For ten years I ran the Australia Japan Foundation
for the Department of Foreign Affairs. I have worked as a Japanese
speaking lawyer in Tokyo, and in the early 70s I taught law as a professor
at Monash University.
I continue as an author of a standard case
book on contract law that is used in Universities throughout Australia.
I have lived in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney
and Tokyo. I am now happily settled in Melbourne.
I enjoy travelling and know my way around
Tokyo, Manila, and to a lesser extent Hong Kong. |
